This could be yours!
Swiss cartoonist Eugene “Zim” Zimmerman (1862-1933) is a new name to me, and boy am I glad I found out about him. Zim was a cartoonist in the early 1900’s and is credited as being the developer of the grotesque school of caricature.
Zim published an INCREDIBLY rare book of
“great cartoons, helpful drawing tips, technical information and business advice for the aspiring cartoonist. Most importantly, Zim passes along his unique philosophy of life, and offers a shining example of how an artistic career as a caricaturist can be incorporated into a person’s lifestyle.” - Steve Worth
As fate would have it, this incredibly rare book showed up in a used bookstore in Arizona, and ASIFA Archive supporter Marc Shirmeister snatched it up, and generously donated it to be scanned at the archive.
And for THIS WEEK ONLY this book can be YOURS too!

“The joys of bohemia mingled with the comforts of home.” - Zim
I’d act fast - there’s no telling when another opportunity to get ahold of this rare book on cartooning might happen again…

I recently came across a copy of Zim’s Cartoons and Caricatures, his 1910 book at a garage sale and picked it up. I was wondering if you would have any idea how much it is worth. It still has the tie draw strings attached. It is worn but in decent shape.
